- Briefly discuss the importance of warming up to get our bodies ready for exercise.
2. **Movement Warm-Up (5 minutes)**
- Play a lively song and encourage children to follow you as you perform various movements such as jogging on the spot, jumping jacks, arm circles, high knees, and dancing.
- Change the movement every 30 seconds to keep it engaging.
3. **Stretching (3 minutes)**
- Lead the children through basic stretches: touch toes, reach for the sky, side bends, and gentle shoulder rotations.

#### Main Activity (30 minutes):
**1. Beanbag Balance Relay (10 minutes)**
- Divide the class into small teams.
- Instruct the children to balance a beanbag on their head and walk to a marked spot and back.
- If the beanbag falls, they must pick it up and place it back on their head before continuing.
- Emphasise that it’s not a race – the goal is to keep the beanbag balanced.
**2. Follow the Leader (10 minutes)**
- Select one child to be the leader who performs different movements (e.g., hopping, skipping, tiptoeing) and the others follow.
- After a few minutes, choose a new leader.
- This game encourages creativity and helps children practice following instructions.
**3. Musical Statues (10 minutes)**
- Play lively music and instruct the children to dance.
- When the music stops, they must freeze in place.
- Praise those who are standing still when the music stops and encourage everyone to participate with enthusiasm.
---
#### Cool Down (5 minutes):
1. **Gentle Movements (2 minutes)**
- Walk slowly around the space, gently swinging arms and breathing deeply.
- Gradually slow down the pace until standing still.
2. **Stretching (3 minutes)**
- Perform gentle stretches similar to the warm-up but slower and more relaxed: touch toes, reach for the sky, and gentle shoulder rotations.
- Encourage children to take deep breaths and relax.
---
#### Closing (3 minutes):
- Gather the children and praise them for their participation and effort.
- Ask a few children to share which game they enjoyed the most and why.
- Remind them of the importance of playing safely and being active every day.
